BCA's New Currency Exchange Schedule for 2026: Terms and Procedures

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is providing new currency exchange services for Eid al-Fitr 2026 across nearly 150 branch offices throughout Indonesia.

To meet the cash and transaction requirements of customers during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026 period, BCA has prepared cash funds totalling Rp65.7 trillion.

BCA has also prepared various services to facilitate the exchange of small denomination currency (UPK).

During the Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr 2026 period, BCA customers can exchange new currency at BCA branch offices throughout Indonesia, subject to availability at each respective branch office.

For UPK exchange, the currency made available is Legal Tender Currency (ULE) and new currency (where available).

Registration is carried out through Bank Indonesia’s Pintar system to select the schedule and location for currency exchange in accordance with available quotas.

The public may only exchange currency at the branch selected during registration and in accordance with available quotas.

This service commenced in late February 2026 and is scheduled to continue until 13 March 2026.
