BCA UMKM Fest 2026 Set to Push Local Products into Global Markets
Jakarta – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) will again present the BCA UMKM Fest in 2026 as a tribute to micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia and as support for the national economy. This year, the BCA UMKM Fest will be held offline in a more vibrant form through a special collaboration with Pagelaran Sabang Merauke, to be staged at Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, from 20 to 23 August 2026. Thousands of UMKM from various sectors, including food & beverage, fashion, health & beauty, and hobby & activity, will participate in BCA UMKM Fest 2026, which will also be available online via the Grab and Blibli platforms from 1 August to 20 September 2026. Then, dozens of selected UMKM merchants will be present offline in the Pagelaran Sabang Merauke 2026 area. “BCA is endeavouring to deliver a more holistic experience for visitors, where culture is not only present on the performance stage but also felt through the works, products and creativity of UMKM entrepreneurs. We believe UMKM have a crucial role in driving economic growth while preserving Indonesia’s local wealth,” said Antonius in a written statement on Friday, 22 May 2026. He added that, besides helping expand markets through digital access on partner platforms, BCA also offers a range of support including promotional vouchers, seller education, onboarding on digital platforms, and special productive credit offers to aid the development of UMKM businesses. UMKM Fest is one of several BCA efforts to stimulate UMKM growth. The festival’s presence demonstrates that BCA’s support for the UMKM sector spans from upstream to downstream. On the upstream side, BCA runs several programs to help UMKM entrepreneurs build a solid business foundation, such as halal certification, which up to last year has assisted in issuing halal certificates for more than 4,500 UMKM. BCA also helps entrepreneurs access global markets through UMKM Go Export. As a result, in 2025, 19 Bakti BCA–mentored UMKM participated in Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025 and engaged in 185 business matchings. The activity opened networking opportunities to 33 destination countries, with export potential valued at Rp 110.9 billion. Recently, through the Creating Shared Value (CSV) programme, Bakti BCA together with the Warna Alami Association (WARLAMI) introduced natural-dyed woven products at the Tenun Exhibition in Indonesia House Amsterdam (IHA), the Netherlands. The Tenun Exhibition runs from 24 April to 15 September 2026.
