BCA Syariah Strengthens Collaboration with BAZNAS, Launches Donation Feature in BSya App
PT Bank BCA Syariah is strengthening its synergy with the National Zakat Collection Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BAZNAS RI) in the collection and distribution of religious social funds. This collaboration is marked by the handover of customer zakat and company infak to BAZNAS, as well as the launch of the Donation (Zakat, Infak, Sedekah) feature on the BSya mobile banking app by BCA Syariah.
The launch of this feature represents a strategic step by BCA Syariah to expand public access to fulfilling zakat, infak, and sedekah digitally through trusted zakat collection institutions, including BAZNAS.
BCA Syariah President Director Yuli Melati Suryaningrum stated that zakat, infak, and sedekah play an important role in strengthening social solidarity while also driving community economic empowerment.
She explained that through collaboration with BAZNAS, BCA Syariah seeks to bring the public closer to social fund collection that delivers real impact for mustahik (recipients).
“Zakat, infak, and sedekah are means to support one another and bring benefits to others. Through collaboration with BAZNAS, we aim to bring the public closer to fund collection that provides real impact for mustahik,” said Yuli.
The partnership between BCA Syariah and BAZNAS RI has consistently facilitated the distribution of customer zakat funds. Up to 2025, this collaboration has reached 82 mustahik micro-business actors who received support to develop their businesses and enhance economic independence.
BAZNAS RI Chairman Sodik Mudjahid appreciated the digital service innovation introduced by BCA Syariah. According to him, the ease of zakat payments via mobile banking will further encourage public participation in fulfilling zakat and sharing with others.
“This is a digital service innovation, and we are very grateful because the public can now more easily pay zakat fitrah, as well as infak and sedekah, in a more practical way directly from the BSya mobile banking app by BCA Syariah,” said Sodik.
Through the Donation feature on the BSya app, customers can now channel zakat, infak, and sedekah easily, securely, and integrated directly from their mobile devices.
Yuli hopes this innovation will increase public participation in zakat-giving while encouraging the optimisation of national zakat potential.
“We want to be a blessed companion for customers and make sharing goodness even easier. With this feature, we hope public participation in zakat will increase, so that Indonesia’s zakat potential can be collected and distributed more optimally,” she said.
