PT Bank BCA Syariah booked a net profit of Rp109.4 billion in the first half of 2026, representing growth of 9.2 percent year-on-year (yoy).

“Given the current situation, where we recognise the macroeconomic challenges are very significant, what we achieved in the first half is something we should maintain, and we must consider how to ensure we are all ready to face the challenging end of the second half,” said President Director of PT Bank BCA Syariah Yuli Melati Suryaningrum during a media briefing in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Yuli added that the profit growth was supported in part by an increase in income from the company’s financing disbursement.

She detailed that BCA Syariah’s financing income stood at Rp512.9 billion as of June 2026, an increase of 16.6 percent year-on-year from Rp439.8 billion in June 2025.

This growth was also in line with financing, which rose by Rp13.58 trillion, or 20.5 percent, year-on-year.

Meanwhile, Director of PT Bank BCA Syariah Pranata said the company’s margin income was recorded at Rp422.3 billion, growing 13.4 percent year-on-year from Rp372.4 billion in June 2025.

In terms of financing quality, Pranata said the gross non-performing financing (NPF) ratio stood at 1.84 percent in June 2026. Meanwhile, net NPF was recorded at 0.41 percent.

“For non-performing financing, the NPF ratio at BCA Syariah remains maintained at around 1.8 percent, while the net figure is at 0.4 percent. Our financing-to-asset ratio is also relatively good and quite low, recorded at 5.38 percent as of June,” said Pranata.

Meanwhile, BCA Syariah’s fee income was recorded as growing by 30.4 percent. Pranata said this was closely linked to administrative fees from financing growth, growth in savings accounts, and mobile banking transactions such as Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), the National Clearing System (SKN), QRIS, and BI-Fast.

“The increase in transactions is also quite good; our mobile banking transactions grew by 138 percent overall. Breaking this down, transfers such as RTGS and SKN grew by 74 percent,” said Pranata.

“Then QRIS, which is currently becoming a favourite, grew by 280 percent at BCA Syariah. And of course BI-Fast transactions were also quite good, growing by 135 percent. This will certainly have an impact on the increase in fees we receive,” he added.
