BCA Syariah Partners with Ivan Gunawan to Launch Study Series for Younger Generation

BCA Syariah is adopting a unique approach to strengthening literacy and proximity to its customers through a study series titled ‘Dari Sahabat untuk Sahabat’ (From Friend to Friend). This programme is part of the larger ‘Sahabat Berkahmu’ campaign, which utilises a concept of intimate, warm, and light-hearted discussions to better engage the younger generation.

The inaugural session, themed ‘Who I Want to Be According to God’, was held at the XXI Lounge Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday evening. The event was hosted by MC Kamal Rasyid and featured Ustadz Jojo Ali Yusuf and celebrity Ivan Gunanta as keynote speakers.

BCA Syariah President Director, Yuli Melati Suryaningrum, stated that this study programme is a derivative of the ‘Sahabat Berkahmu’ tagline, which aims to reinforce BCA Syariah’s position not merely as a banking institution, but as a friend to the community.

‘BCA Syariah positions itself as a friend. A friend is by your side, at your side. Not too far ahead, and certainly not behind. We want to be present to accompany our customers’ journeys in seeking life’s blessings,’ said Yuli.

She noted that emotional closeness is vital because every customer’s needs are different. Consequently, BCA Syariah aims to build a more personal and intimate relationship with the public.

‘We want to be present in all aspects of our customers’ lives. From daily transactions to specific needs such as purchasing sacrificial animals for Qurban, we prepare for it all. However, to understand those needs, we must be close to our customers,’ she added.
