BCA Syariah Dominates Profit-Sharing Financing as Industry Still Tests Appetite for Risk-Sharing

BCA Syariah succeeded in dominating profit-sharing-based financing by the end of 2025, with the segment accounting for 71.9 per cent of its total financing portfolio of Rp13.2 trillion. This achievement demonstrates that there is in fact considerable public appetite for profit-sharing arrangements within Indonesia’s Islamic banking sector, even as the wider industry continues to test its readiness to embrace genuine risk-sharing models.
