BCA signs a deal to improve service
JAKARTA: Bank Central Asia (BCA), a leading private bank in the country, has signed an agreement with Reuters, to implement Reuters Automated Dealing services across its large retail banking network.
"The market is rapidly evolving and Reuters increased investment in dealing with technology will ensure that we have an open solution that can fully address our current and future needs," BCA general manager Darius Wanardi said in a statement on Thursday.
"We believe that taking on the service will enable us to provide our branches with a fuller range of automated trading services that improve service, transparency and efficiency."
BCA is the first bank in Indonesia to be rolling out the technology to its 115 branches and will be interfacing Automated Dealing Technologies with Kondor+, a real-time positioning keeping system, to enable complete flow through of deals from the branches to the front-office risk management system. -- JP
