BCA Records 5.6% Credit Growth in Q1 2026, with SMEs as Key Support
JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, or BCA, has disbursed credit amounting to Rp994 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. This figure represents a 5.6% increase year-on-year (yoy).
BCA President Director Hendra Lembong stated that credit growth in the first three months of the year was supported by productive credit of Rp760.2 trillion, up 7.8% (yoy).
Additionally, this achievement was bolstered by SME credit growth of 12% (yoy), with outstanding loans reaching Rp146 trillion.
“Starting 2026, BCA’s performance was influenced by the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr momentum, which supported credit performance,” he said during a press conference on Thursday (23/4/2026).
Meanwhile, BCA’s green financing grew 7.7% (yoy) to Rp113 trillion. This growth was supported by financing disbursements to the new and renewable energy (EBT) sector, which increased 53.5% (yoy).
On the other hand, in its credit disbursements, BCA adheres to principles of prudence and disciplined risk management.
This is evident from the loan at risk (LAR) ratio and non-performing loan (NPL) ratio being maintained at 5.1% and 1.8%, respectively. The provisioning ratios for LAR and NPL are at solid levels of 69.7% and 174.6%, respectively.
The CASA portion dominates at around 85.2% of BCA’s total third-party funds (DPK) of Rp1,292.4 trillion, which grew 8.3% (yoy).
“The increase in CASA aligns with the development of BCA’s transaction banking, including various digital and non-digital channels,” he added.
