BCA prepares Rp65.7 trillion in cash for Ramadhan–Idulfitri 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has prepared cash totaling Rp65.7 trillion to meet customer transaction needs during the Ramadhan and Idulfitri 2026 period.

“At the same time, BCA continues to strengthen digital services to serve all customers,” said BCA President Director Hendra Lembong in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

In addition to ensuring cash availability, BCA is also preparing a Small Denomination Currency (UPK) exchange service. Throughout Ramadhan to Idulfitri, customers can exchange UPK at BCA branches nationwide, subject to availability at each branch.

For UPK exchange, the currency provided will be Uang Layak Edar (ULE) and new notes if available.

BCA is also deploying nearly 150 branches across Indonesia to serve UPK exchanges via the Bank Indonesia PINTAR site registration mechanism.

The procedure for exchange via PINTAR is as follows:

  1. Register and place an order first via the PINTAR application https://pintar.bi.go.id. The period for UPK exchange follows the schedule set for each BCA branch.

  2. Exchanges can only be conducted according to quotas available at the designated BCA branches.

  3. After receiving allocation for UPK exchange at the BCA branch chosen on the PINTAR website, customers can visit that branch in accordance with the schedule to perform the exchange.

  4. At the time of exchange, customers and the public must bring the exchange receipt (hardcopy/softcopy) and the original KTP as per the name on the receipt.

“Ramadan and Idulfitri generally become a significant money circulation moment in Indonesia. This aligns with increasing public needs, such as shopping, social obligations, and even mudik (homecoming travel),” said Hendra.

“BCA is committed to providing high-quality banking services, including ensuring cash availability. We are committed to helping customers and the public meet their needs during Ramadan and Idulfitri, as well as contributing positively to Indonesia’s economic growth,” he added.

Beyond physical services, BCA also optimises digital channels accessible 24 hours a day, such as the myBCA app, BCA Mobile, Internet Banking (KlikBCA), and the BCA ATM network across locations.
