BCA Posts Net Profit of Rp 29.5 Trillion

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) recorded a net profit of Rp 29.5 trillion in the first half of 2026, up around 3.5 per cent compared with Rp 28.5 trillion in the same period last year. BCA President Director Hendra Lembong said profit growth was supported by credit expansion, which rose 8 per cent year-on-year to Rp 1,036 trillion.

“For the first time, the company’s credit portfolio has exceeded Rp 1,000 trillion,” Hendra said at a virtual press conference on BCA’s First Half 2026 Performance Presentation on Tuesday, 28 July 2026.

Hendra said the performance growth in the first half of this year was supported by the staging of BCA Expoversary 2026, as well as productive lending to various sectors.

BCA’s lending, particularly in the productive financing segment, grew 11 per cent to Rp 802 trillion. Corporate loans rose 13.6 per cent to Rp 513.4 trillion, whilst commercial and small and medium enterprise (SME) loans increased 6.6 per cent to Rp 288.5 trillion.

BCA recorded current account and savings account (CASA) funds rising 10.2 per cent to Rp 1,082 trillion. Meanwhile, third-party funds (DPK) grew 7.9 per cent to Rp 1,284 trillion. The CASA share reached 84.3 per cent of total third-party funds, keeping the cost of funds (CoF) well under control.

As of the first half of 2026, green financing increased 19 per cent to Rp 123 trillion. Financing for the new renewable energy sector (EBT) surged 82 per cent to Rp 7.7 trillion, whilst electric vehicle loans grew 25 per cent to Rp 4 trillion.

As of June 2026, the company’s asset quality remained sound, with a loan at risk (LAR) ratio of 4.9 per cent and non-performing loans (NPL) of 1.9 per cent. Meanwhile, non-interest income increased 11 per cent year-on-year to Rp 13.2 trillion.
