BCA offers special credit interest rates for MSMEs until January 2027
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), known as BCA, is offering special credit interest rates for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), effective from 1 June 2026 until January 2027. The programme is implemented through a financing scheme titled ‘Kredit Multiguna Usaha (KMU) Hari UMKM 2t026’, with interest rate offers starting from 5.81 per cent effective per annum. The credit term is also extended for MSMEs to ensure more manageable instalment values.
“This financing programme is expected to help MSME players obtain more affordable access to capital, enabling them to increase production capacity, expand business networks, undertake investments, and create new jobs,” said BCA Vice President Director John Kosasih in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
In addition to the KMU Hari UMKM 2026, BCA also offers the ‘Kredit Multiguna Usaha MerDeKa’ (Material, Developer, and Contractor) programme, which is aimed at prospective debtors in the property, construction, and building materials sectors. This product is expected to create a multiplier effect on local labour absorption and accelerate economic growth within the real estate and housing sectors.
To support MSMEs, BCA will host the UMKM Fest 2026 as a hybrid event, featuring an online component from 1 August to 20 September 2026, and an offline event from 20–23 August 2026 at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta. The event aims to serve as a platform for business owners to expand market access, receive education, and gain access to financing.
John stated that these various forms of support are intended to address the needs of business players across various sectors. “We believe that optimal support for MSMEs can contribute on a larger scale to the national economy and create new jobs to drive inclusive economic growth,” he added.
BCA’s credit distribution to the SME sector reached IDR 134.6 trillion, representing a 6 per cent year-on-year growth as of the first semester of 2026. Support for MSMEs is delivered through a three-pillar approach: strengthening financing, coaching, and transactions.
