BCA Invites Students to Develop Solutions for Gunung Padang Tourism Village Through Genera-Z Berbakti
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has called on young people, particularly university students, to actively participate in developing the potential and strengthening village economies through the social innovation competition Genera-Z Berbakti 2026.
The programme provides a platform for students from various universities to present creative and sustainable solutions to challenges faced by rural communities across Indonesia.
Hera F. Haryn, EVP of Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility at BCA, stated that the Genera-Z Berbakti initiative is intended to serve as a strategic bridge between students and communities, rather than merely an idea competition.
“We hope that teams given the opportunity to implement their ideas at the Gunung Padang Heritage Tourism Village will contribute meaningful solutions and put them into practice for social progress, health, and environmental sustainability there,” Hera said in a statement on Wednesday (27 May 2026).
The final competition series will be broadcast on YouTube @SolusiBCA and other official partner channels. In addition to judging by a panel, public support is a key component of the competition.
Supporters can vote for their favourite teams via BCA’s official Instagram account (@goodlifebca) from 21 May to 5 July 2026. The votes will determine one team to be named Fan Favourite Team among the eight finalists of Genera-Z Berbakti 2026.
“Through community service at BCA’s designated villages, the innovations from the finalists can deliver tangible impacts that align cultural preservation with improved local welfare,” Hera added.
