BCA extends share buyback period to 23 October 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, or BCA (BBCA), has extended the period for buying back its shares from the previously scheduled end date of 21 October 2026 to 23 October 2026.
The buyback will therefore run from 19 to 23 October 2026.
“BCA is once again carrying out the company’s share buyback programme from 19 to 23 October 2026. The duration of the buyback has been extended from the previously announced end date of 21 October 2026,” BCA management said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The buyback programme was approved at the company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for the 2025 financial year, held on 12 March 2026.
The corporate action continues the buyback programme previously carried out in April and June 2026.
BCA management said the buyback also reflected the bank’s confidence in its business fundamentals and was intended to support stability in Indonesia’s capital market.
The company said it would continue to uphold the principles of good corporate governance (GCG) and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Under the resolution passed at the 2025 financial-year AGM, the buyback programme is scheduled to run for 12 months, from 12 March 2026 to 11 March 2027, unless the company ends it earlier in accordance with applicable legislation.
Management also said the buyback would have no material impact on the company’s financial performance or business activities.
“BCA management will continue to take market dynamics into account when carrying out the buyback,” it said.
