PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) ecosystem by presenting the BCA UMKM Fest 2026. Ahead of the annual event, the bank is offering a special lending rate for MSMEs, effective from 1 July 2026 to January 2027. The financing programme, named Kredit Multiguna Usaha (KMU) Hari UMKM 2026, offers interest rates starting from 5.81% effective per annum with longer tenors, providing lighter instalments for business owners. BCA Vice President Director John Kosasih said the programme is expected to help MSMEs gain more affordable access to capital, enabling them to increase production capacity, expand business networks, invest, and create new jobs. He added that sustainable financing support is part of BCA’s commitment to driving national economic growth through strengthening the MSME sector. In addition to the KMU Hari UMKM 2026, BCA also offers Kredit Multiguna Usaha MerDeKa, targeting prospective debtors in the property, construction, and building materials sectors. This product is expected to create a multiplier effect on local employment and accelerate economic growth in the real and housing sectors. These steps complement BCA’s inclusive financing solutions, including transactions and business development for MSMEs. BCA is also promoting business growth through the BCA UMKM Fest 2026, which will be held in a hybrid format online from 1 August to 20 September 2026 and offline from 20 to 23 August 2026 at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta. The event is intended to serve as a platform for business owners to expand market access, gain education, and access financing. John Kosasih expressed hope that the various financing solutions would meet the needs of business owners across different sectors, contributing to the national economy and creating new jobs to drive inclusive economic growth. BCA’s SME loan disbursement reached Rp134.7 trillion, growing 6% year-on-year in the first half of 2026. The bank’s support for MSMEs is based on a comprehensive approach through three pillars: financing, coaching, and transactions. Beyond providing affordable capital access, BCA offers business education and market expansion through initiatives such as BCA Bangga Lokal, BCA UMKM Fest, UMKM Halal Certification, and UMKM Go Export. These efforts are further enhanced by digital payment efficiencies through QRIS BCA, the BCA Merchant app, and myBCA services, all integrated to help Indonesian MSMEs transform, upgrade, and strengthen their competitiveness sustainably in both domestic and global markets.
