BCA Director Urges Students to Prepare for the Working World in the Global Era
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - BCA Director Haryanto T Budiman stated that young people must possess strong character and firm principles to successfully overcome challenging times. This was conveyed during PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA)’s public lecture titled BCA Berbagi Ilmu (BBI) at Bina Nusantara University (Binus) in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/4/2026). The inaugural BBI event in 2026 featured the theme “From Lecture Hall to Real World: Thriving in a Turbulent Era”. Notably, the BBI session at Binus Jakarta was attended by more than 560 students. Haryanto explained that the initiative reflects BCA’s commitment and concern for the world of education, as well as efforts to prepare outstanding human resources for Indonesia’s Golden Vision 2045. According to him, education is crucial for Indonesia’s future. BCA consistently strives to contribute to improving the quality of education and human resources in Indonesia. “The younger generation, especially students, must be able to move quickly, adapt, and effectively implement the values learned in university when entering the workforce or starting a business. Moreover, we must continue to uphold integrity. These values have been implemented internally at BCA to solely deliver the best products and services to customers,” he elaborated. During this BBI session, BCA also promoted the Genera-Z Berbakti programme. In this programme, BCA will provide funding, mentoring, and opportunities for students to directly apply their ideas in BCA’s adopted villages. Student groups can participate by submitting programme proposals and fulfilling various requirements and conditions as outlined on the official programme page at bca.id/generazberbakti. BCA’s EVP for Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility, Hera F Haryn, stated that BCA is open to collaborations with all higher education institutions.
