Burton may have been murdered: Former Time magazine correspondent Sandra Burton, who was found dead in the Indonesian resort island of Bali last week, may have been murdered, a police detective said on Tuesday. The official Antara new agency quoted an unnamed detective as saying that police found bruises on Burton's face and strangulation marks on her neck. Bali police detective chief Wawan Ridwan said separately that police were still awaiting the result of a post-mortem examination in Bali and a medical record from Singapore to determine the cause of Burton's death. Burton, a U.S. citizen, was found dead at her rented house in the island's capital Denpasar on Feb. 27. -- AFP
