BBTF 2026 Transactions Reach Rp6.9 Trillion
The Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) 2026 took place from 28 to 30 May 2026, with organisers recording potential transactions worth Rp 6.9 trillion.
“As BBTF 2026 officially concluded its three-day programme, we are pleased to report estimated transaction values of Rp 6.9 trillion,” said BBTF 2026 Chairman I Putu Winastra on Saturday (30 May 2026).
Winastra explained that this year’s transaction target was lowered due to a market strategy focusing more on short-haul markets amid global geopolitical uncertainties. “That’s why there was a reduction, but with Rp 6.9 trillion, it’s an extraordinary potential transaction, above our expectations, given the current global situation,” he said.
In terms of business collaborations, Asian and Australian markets remained the largest contributors during the exhibition’s business meetings. “Globally, the main contributors are from Asia, particularly Vietnam, and Australia,” said the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (Asita) Bali.
Besides the main markets, BBTF 2026 also noted emerging interest from new markets, including African nations. “They were amazed. Despite the current situation, they see Bali as still a safe and attractive destination to visit,” he added.
On the same occasion, organisers announced plans for BBTF’s development next year. BBTF 2027 will be held from 9 to 11 June, involving three provinces: Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). “The Governor has just given us directions, and BBTF 2027 is likely to be enhanced with the slogan ‘Bali and Nusra Travel Fair’, meaning the three provinces will unite to grow the event next year,” he concluded.
BBTF 2027 will feature the theme “Bali and Beyond: Regenerative Travel Elevated”, which will drive discussions on tourism’s role in building destination resilience, improving community welfare, and supporting sustainable economic growth.
