BBPJN Central Java provides rest posts for Eid homecoming equipped with route information access
Kudus (ANTARA) - The PPK 3.2 for Central Java under the Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional Jawa Tengah-DI Yogyakarta (BBPJN Jateng-DIY) is providing the Posko Mudik Lebaran 2026 with complete facilities, including access to route information for the homecoming journey.
According to the Kaur TU of PPK 3.2 Central Java, Zulfa Amalia, in Kudus on Wednesday, the mudik post is equipped with various facilities, ranging from air conditioning, rest areas, places of worship, light food and drinks, massage chairs, and adequate toilets.
The mudik post will begin operations on 12 March 2026 and is scheduled until 28 March 2026.
Some travellers have already utilised the post, including two on Tuesday (17/3) from Sumbang heading to Madura.
“The presence of this post is to provide comfort for travellers passing through the Kudus area. When tired or fatigued from driving, they can use it to rest briefly,” she said.
With the existence of this post, it is hoped that travellers can use it to rest briefly to reduce fatigue during the journey.
“At this post, travellers can obtain Lebaran route information, including data on road conditions, on-site incidents, and other information needed by travellers,” she added.
The establishment of the Posko Mudik Lebaran 2026 is part of the activities of the Ministry of Public Works through the Directorate General of Highway Development.
The Ministry of Public Works also provides a digital platform for the mudik route information map that can be accessed by the public. Through the mudik.pu.go.id website, the public can monitor the condition of national roads and toll roads, including access to mudik route CCTV from Bina Marga or the Ministry of Transportation.
In addition, information on the locations of Ministry of Public Works mudik posts scattered along various main routes is also available.
With the presence of the post and digital platform support, it is hoped that the public can plan their mudik journey more safely, comfortably, and smoothly.
