Baffled experts hunt bird flu in southern Vietnam: Experts from
the World Health Organization and Food and Agriculture
Organization were hunting on Sunday for cases of humans infected
by bird flu in southern Vietnam after four deaths in the north.
Officials of the UN agencies were meeting health and agriculture
officials in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's biggest city which is in
the south of the country, in their search for victims, said WHO
spokesman Robert Dietz. "They're speaking with officials and
trying to find out what is happening," Dietz said. -- Reuters

U.S., Britain to meet with UN nuclear watchdog on Libya: The two
top U.S. and British diplomats for arms control were to meet here
Monday with the UN nuclear watchdog to resolve differences over
their roles in inspecting Libya's promised dismantling of its
weapons of mass destruction programs. U.S. Undersecretary of
State for Arms Control and Nuclear Proliferation John Bolton was
to see the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
Mohamed ElBaradei, a U.S. official said on Friday. Bolton, along
with his counterpart from the British Foreign Office William
Ehrman, was to meet with ElBaradei amid a turf battle over who
should take the leading role in verifying that Libya is heeding
its surprise promise to abandon nuclear, biological and chemical
