Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Alms Agency (Baznas)/Bazis of South Jakarta is providing 100 places for participants in a one-day free tattoo removal program at the Dirgantara Room of the South Jakarta City Hall.

“For today’s quota, we are providing capacity for 100 people,” said the Coordinator of Baznas Bazis South Jakarta, Ahmad Kahpi, during the free tattoo removal event at the South Jakarta City Hall, Thursday.

Kahpi explained that the target for the free tattoo removal in South Jakarta is 100 participants. However, this year, they are also opening the opportunity for participants who want to come directly (on the spot) to join.

This is because many interested people have experienced difficulties when registering through the website, so they are directed to contact them via WhatsApp or come directly to the location (on the spot).

“If the main quota has been met, we will still try to provide assistance for participants outside the quota,” he said.

He said that tattoo removal cannot be done in one go, considering the different shapes, colours, and thicknesses. Therefore, he suggested that participants return in three months.

“That’s why, after participating in this tattoo removal, they need to come again in about three months,” he said.

He reminded that for three months after the tattoo removal, participants should not be exposed to laser treatment, as this can cause burns on the skin. He hopes that the community will avoid tattoos and become a good example for children and families.

“With this tattoo removal program, the people of South Jakarta can become even better individuals,” he said.

The National Alms Agency (Baznas)/Bazis of the DKI Jakarta Province reminds individuals to ensure their health before attending the tattoo removal service in Jakarta, especially during Ramadan 1447 H/2026.
