Baznas RI and PBPI Call on the Public to Donate Through the Padel Charity Tournament 2026

Jakarta — The National Zakat Agency (Baznas) RI, All in One Indonesia, and the Perkumpulan Besar Padel Indonesia (PBPI) are collaborating to organise the Padel Charity Tournament 2026 at Smash Padel, TB Simatupang, Jakarta, on Saturday, 11 April 2026.

“We want to emphasise that this tournament is not merely a healthy sporting competition, but we also want to contribute, help those in need. In this instance, the funds are allocated to restore the nation through action, primarily recovery in disaster-affected areas in Indonesia, especially Sumatra,” said Rizaludin Kurniawan, head of Baznas RI’s Fundraising division, in a statement from Jakarta on Saturday.

Rizaludin expressed thanks to all partners for their contributions in organising the event. He added that the organisation is open to industry players, influencers, and various parties who wish to become sponsors of the Padel Charity Tournament 2026.

“Because this is our tournament, we are very open to partners or sponsors or anything related to this event, because we believe our shared intention in this collaboration is to strengthen sport in Indonesia while also delivering impact on social programmes,” Rizaludin said.

Moreover, PBPI General Chairman Gino Korompis welcomed the Padel Charity Tournament 2026. He hopes the public can participate and support this charity sport.

“We see this as a very good initiative. In the midst of sport’s rapid growth, we aim to seize positive momentum so that the public realises that through sport, we can contribute to other communities,” he said.

Gino explained that the tournament will use a grouping-stage round, followed by a knockout round. The tournament comprises two categories (Men’s Bronze & Mixed Bronze), and will be held on Saturday, 11 April 2026 at Smash Padel, TB Simatupang, with play from 08:00 to 17:00 WIB.

The registration fee is Rp 2.5 million per team. The public may watch the tournament in person free of charge.
