Baznas Opens Registration for S1 Scholarships at AIU Malaysia Until 30 April

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of the Republic of Indonesia has officially opened the Cendekia Baznas (BCB) Scholarship Programme at Albukhary International University (AIU) Malaysia Batch 5 for 2026, for 40 Indonesian students. “This collaboration forms a bond of blood and spirit between Indonesia and Malaysia. May it serve as an inspiration and bring blessings, producing goodness for Baznas, Albukhary, and the scholarship recipients,” said Baznas RI Leader Idy Muzayyad in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. Furthermore, Deputy II of Baznas RI Imdadun Rahmat stated that the BCB AIU programme is present to provide assistance to mustahik so they can access higher education. Imdad conveyed that the total number of BCB AIU beneficiaries currently reaches 153 students from 22 provinces. Through this programme, said he, Baznas has also graduated 132 students, most of whom are now working as expatriates in Malaysia. It is known that the BCB AIU Programme is intended for high school graduates or equivalents from underprivileged families who wish to continue their studies at the undergraduate level (S1). The full funding programme with a maximum study period of four years provides a quota of 40 people for 2026, designed to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) towards Golden Indonesia 2045. Furthermore, this programme also covers departure accommodation components such as passport creation, EMGS visa, personal bond, ancillary fee, as well as pre-departure support, mentoring, and participation in competitions or conferences. The registration period for this programme runs from 15 to 30 April 2026.
