Baznas DKI targets Rp450 billion in ZIS funds by 2026. The target comprises Rp163.25 billion from TKD and Rp286.75 billion from non-TKD. Baznas/Bazis DKI Jakarta Chairman Akhmad H Abu Bakar said the target aims to broaden Muzaki participation and increase the impact of disbursement for those in need. In a statement in Jakarta, on Friday, he noted that in 2025 Baznas DKI raised Rp396.36 billion in ZIS funds, or 99.09 percent of the Rp400 billion target. The funds came from TKD contributions of Rp147.85 billion and Non-TKD Rp248.50 billion. Of the total ZIS funds, Rp387.67 billion were disbursed to programmes in the fields of dakwah, economy, health, education, and humanitarian social welfare, with the largest allocation to humanitarian social programmes. Baznas DKI also hopes the Jakarta Provincial Government will support issuing a Governor’s Instruction on the 2.5 percent professional zakat for all BUMD employees, so that ZIS collection becomes more optimal and its benefits reach Jakarta residents more broadly. Meanwhile, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung urged Baznas/Bazis DKI to continue innovating, broaden the reach of benefits, and improve accountability and transparency so that the funds collected are utilised to their full potential. He also stressed the importance of ensuring that no Jakarta resident in need is unable to meet their basic needs during Ramadan. “The Jakarta Provincial Government hopes BAZNAS (BAZIS) can ensure that no resident, especially those unable to meet their basic needs, is left without support,” said Pramono.
