Baznas DKI reopens registration for free homecoming programme for people with disabilities
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Alms Agency (Baznas)/Bazis of the DKI Jakarta Province has reopened registration for the “Homecoming Together with Friends with Disabilities” programme, providing transport to various regions in Java.
“It has been decided that we will organise a homecoming programme for people with disabilities and non-disabled individuals. The destinations will still be in the Java region, such as Solo, Yogyakarta, Klaten, and others,” said Deputy Chairman IV for Human Resources at Baznas/Bazis DKI Jakarta, Prof. Bunyamin, in Jakarta, Thursday.
Registration is open from Wednesday (25 February) to 16 March 2026 via WhatsApp number 0857-7037-0243, requiring a photocopy of ID cards and family cards, as well as one family with a member with a disability listed on the family card.
“This consists of one father, one mother, and children,” said the Head of the Distribution and Empowerment Division of Baznas/Bazis DKI Jakarta, Muhammad Bahaudin.
Baznas DKI stipulates that the disabilities eligible to participate are visual impairments, physical disabilities without wheelchairs, and hearing impairments.
Bahaudin said that for this year’s free homecoming programme for people with disabilities, four buses will be provided with a quota of 70 families. The number of buses in 2026 is the same as last year.
The routes in the programme are divided into two, namely the northern and southern routes. The northern route is Jakarta - Indramayu - Cirebon - Tegal - Pemalang - Pekalongan - Semarang - Boyolali - Yogyakarta - Solo - Surabaya.
Meanwhile, the southern route is Jakarta - Garut - Tasikmalaya - Banjar - Cilacap - Purwokerto - Purworejo - Yogyakarta - Solo - Surabaya.
The departure of the homecoming buses will take place on 17 March 2026 at the Silang Monas Field, Central Jakarta, at the same time as the Free Homecoming Programme organised by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
