Baznas DKI distributes 2,000 food portions for fidyah during Ramadhan

Jakarta — The National Board of Zakat (Baznas) of DKI Jakarta Province is distributing fidyah in the form of 2,000 food portions to be distributed in stages to communities across Jakarta during Ramadhan 1447 Hijriah/2026.

Nurminto, Head of Distribution and Utilisation at Baznas DKI Jakarta, stated in Jakarta on Thursday that the distribution began on Tuesday (10 March) in Central Jakarta with 400 food portions, followed by South Jakarta with 300 food portions.

In Central Jakarta, food was distributed in RW 1 and RW 3 Cideng, Gambir District, Central Jakarta. Meanwhile, in South Jakarta, there are two locations: Jalan Mangga Tengah, Grogol Selatan, Kebayoran Lama and Jalan Kangkung, Cipulir, Kebayoran Lama.

“Through this activity, we hope that the fidyah distributed can alleviate the burden on the community and strengthen the spirit of togetherness and social concern within society,” said Nurminto.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta will receive 500 food portions, West Jakarta 400 food portions, and North Jakarta 400 food portions. The fidyah distribution activity will continue until Friday (13 March).

The food menu in this fidyah programme is prepared directly by Nusantara chefs through collaboration with Culinaria Modena.

Based on BAZNAS Regulation No. 10 of 2022 regarding Zakat Fitrah and Fidyah for the DKI Jakarta Capital Region and surrounding areas, the value of fidyah in monetary form is set at IDR 50,000 per day per person.
