Baznas Distributes Qurbani and Meat Alms for Palestine from West Java

The National Board of Zakat (Baznas) RI has symbolically received the mandate for a Qurbani and meat alms programme for the people of Palestine from the West Java Provincial Baznas. The donated funds include the Palestine Qurbani programme valued at IDR 147,500,000, Palestine Meat Alms valued at IDR 82,600,000, and Packaged Meat Alms valued at IDR 21,000,000.

The Vice Chairman of Baznas RI, Zainut Tauhid Sa’adi, stated that this initiative serves as evidence of the high level of concern and solidarity shown by the people of West Java towards the suffering experienced by the Palestinian people. “We deeply appreciate the concern of the West Java community, channelled through Baznas West Java, to help lighten the burden of our brothers and sisters in Palestine who are struggling amidst conflict conditions,” Zainut Tauhid explained in a written statement on Tuesday.

He noted that the distribution of Qurbani and meat alms is expected to help meet nutritional needs and alleviate the food crisis faced by the Palestinian population. Zainut added that through transparent and accountable management, Baznas RI guarantees that all Qurbani and meat alms packages will be distributed effectively to bring relief to the people of Palestine. “Baznas RI is fully committed to ensuring that all mandates for Qurbani and meat alms are distributed trustworthily, transparently, and precisely to ensure the blessings of the holiday can be felt in Palestine,” he said.
