REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of the Republic of Indonesia is collaborating with Enesis Group to implement a social programme titled “Wangikan 100 Masjid Berseri Bersama Kispray Kasturi.” This initiative forms part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between zakat institutions and the private sector in supporting the comfort of public worship facilities.
The programme was held at Masjid At-Taibin, Senen, Jakarta, and attended by around 200 mosque caretakers from various areas in DKI Jakarta. The event was also attended by the Head of the Corporate Zakat Division of BAZNAS RI, Argo Sayoto, Head of HR and Public Relations of Enesis Group, RM Ardiantara, representatives from the CSR team, and officials from the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM).
Argo Sayoto, Head of the Corporate Zakat Division of BAZNAS RI, explained that collaboration with the private sector is part of efforts to expand the impact of social programmes for the community, including supporting better mosque management.
According to him, synergy between zakat institutions and companies can deliver tangible benefits for worshippers, particularly in improving the quality of worship facilities in various regions.
“This collaboration serves as an example of how the private sector and zakat institutions can work together to provide broad benefits for the community, especially in enhancing the quality of worship facilities,” said Argo.
He also appreciated Enesis Group’s contributions, which are not only in the form of product support but also involvement in various social activities at several mosques in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
According to Argo, the programme helps mosque officials and caretakers maintain a clean and comfortable worship environment for worshippers.
“We express our thanks to Enesis Group through the Kispray brand. This programme helps mosques become more fragrant and free from musty odours, while supporting mosque officials and caretakers in creating a cleaner and more comfortable worship environment for worshippers,” he stated.
In its implementation, the event not only involved product distribution but also provided education for the Mosque Prosperity Council and caretakers on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and fragrance for worship items such as prayer mats, mukena, and sarongs.
RM Ardiantara, Head of HR and Public Relations of Enesis Group, stated that the collaboration with BAZNAS is part of the company’s commitment to delivering broader social impacts for the community.
He explained that previous cooperation between Enesis Group and BAZNAS RI has also been realised through various social activities, including programmes to perfume thousands of mosques and the distribution of aid to natural disaster victims in Aceh earlier this year.
Through this programme, he added, the company hopes to provide greater comfort for worshippers in their worship through a clean and fragrant mosque environment.
