Baznas and BCA Sekuritas Provide Assistance to Orphans

The National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Indonesia, together with BCA Sekuritas, has channelled assistance to dozens of orphans at the Al Muanah Paskam Orphanage. Director of Utilisation and Services for UPZ and CSR at Baznas RI, Eka Budhi Sulistyo, hopes that the aid provided will open doors to blessings for the board of directors and all BCA Sekuritas employees who have demonstrated genuine care. Through this synergy, it is hoped that the relationship between zakat institutions and the private sector will strengthen further in delivering benefits to those in need. “Many thanks, and we also ask that our directors pray for the children so that it may become a path to blessings for us all. Many thanks from us, and please convey our greetings to the others,” said Eka Budhi, as quoted from an official statement on Friday (3/4). Separately, the Main Secretary of Baznas RI, Subhan Cholid, stated that this activity also reinforces BCA Sekuritas’ commitment to fulfilling its social responsibility functions in society. “This is certainly a very positive thing when BCA Sekuritas shares love with the children, and may this become a continuous chain of compassion that strengthens, uniting our hearts in mutual prayer,” explained Subhan Cholid. Meanwhile, Head of Corsec, Corcom & Legal at BCA Sekuritas, Fenny Susanti, expressed deep gratitude and views the opportunity to share love with the orphaned children as an extraordinary blessing that can provide real benefits for their future. She also delivered a motivational message to the students to remain optimistic and not disheartened in facing life, as every divine decree is a blessing to be grateful for. “Actually, this is an extraordinary blessing given to BCA Sekuritas, the opportunity to share love with all of you. May what we give become a very meaningful part of your future,” said Fenny. She also extended appreciation to Baznas RI for facilitating the aid distribution process, ensuring that BCA Sekuritas’ trust is properly delivered to those in great need. “Once again, we thank Baznas for facilitating us in channelling our love to our beloved children. That’s all we can say, and once again thank you Mr Budi, thank you to the Baznas team who have represented us,” she clarified. On that occasion, the manager of the Al Muanah Paskam Orphanage, Umi Rahmawati, conveyed profound appreciation to BCA Sekuritas and Baznas RI for organising the orphan assistance event, which is considered very special as it takes place outside the month of Ramadan. The foundation feels touched and proud that donors continue to remember and care for their fostered children. “We are very grateful, very touched, and also proud. Usually, such assistance activities are often carried out during the holy month of Ramadan. Well, this is an extraordinary blessing; after Ramadan, there is still assistance. Alhamdulillah, barakallah, thank you for still remembering our foster children, especially the orphans under the Al Muanah Paskam Foundation,” said Umi.
