Bayucaraka ITS Team Prepares Three Flying Robots for SAFMC 2026

The Bayucaraka Team at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has prepared three drones—SoeroNgajeng, SoeroMadya, and SoeroWingking—for participation in the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition (SAFMC) scheduled for 8-9 April 2026. Each drone is equipped with Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) sensors, weighs 1.1 kilograms, and has a flight capacity of up to 15 minutes. The drones were officially launched at ITS’s Central Research Building in Surabaya, East Java, on Friday, 13 March 2026.
