BAUT Targets Net Sales of Rp180 Billion by 2026

BAUT, the iron and construction hardware issuer PT Mitra Angkasa Sejahtera Tbk, outlined a series of strategies to bolster the group’s performance in 2026. Chief Executive Foong Tak Hoy said the company targets net sales to grow by more than 30 percent to Rp180 billion in 2026. To achieve this target, management will identify and execute strategic projects to drive high-quality revenue. ‘With the expansion the group plans for 2026 and digital acceleration, the company is on a solid path to achieve turnover growth of more than 30 percent,’ Foong Tak Hoy said at the Public Briefing on Tuesday 19 May 2026. To support the revenue target, BAUT will add two RJ Steel outlets, mainly in the DKI Jakarta region. The openings will be carried out gradually throughout 2026. As of the end of 2025, BAUT operated 22 RJ Steel outlets across Indonesia. These consisted of 10 partner outlets, five franchised outlets, and seven RJ Steel subsidiaries. On the other hand, BAUT is pursuing a cost-efficiency strategy with an optimisation target of up to 6 percent in 2026. The group aims to streamline its cost structure to be leaner and more productive, improve operational efficiency across all units, and allocate resources to high-value and high-potential areas. ‘The strategy is designed to drive sustainable profitability in FY2026 and beyond,’ Foong said. The move is said to reduce handling and warehouse management costs, increase focus on sales and marketing, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers. In its drive to lift turnover, BAUT continues to partner with manufacturers, construction, furniture, and national strategic projects. The group also periodically promotes its FastFix brand, launched in 2024. Projects BAUT is involved in during 2025 include the Palu Grand Mosque development, the Manyar smelter project, the Amman Mineral project, data centre development, and the Merah Putih Cooperative. Meanwhile, the FastFix brand has begun expanding nationwide distribution through MR DIY stores.
