Bathroom Transforms into Relaxation Space in Urban Homes
Changes in urban lifestyles are reshaping perceptions of home spaces, including bathrooms. Once primarily utilitarian, these areas are now evolving into private relaxation sanctuaries that enhance residents’ comfort and quality of life. Modern minimalist housing trends in urban areas have also led consumers to pay closer attention to design, aesthetics, and space efficiency when selecting sanitary fittings.
This has driven sanitary product manufacturers to introduce innovations combining modern design, space efficiency, and water management technology. One such example is Wasser, a water and bathroom solutions brand under PT Aditya Sarana Graha.

This trend is prompting manufacturers to develop innovations integrating modern design, space efficiency, and water management technology, as demonstrated by Wasser’s recent launch of the Kubik One premium shower at Home Deco Bali 2026 in Bali Sunset Road Convention Center.
Ivan explained that the Kubik One shower features a minimalist square tap design to optimise bathroom space organisation while adding a premium feel to modern homes. It also includes a ‘Piano Click’ shower system, using ergonomic buttons inspired by piano keys for water operation.
Beyond design, urban residents are increasingly concerned with water usage comfort. There’s a growing need for bathing experiences that are both comfortable and water-efficient. Consequently, manufacturers are developing water management technologies that enhance comfort while supporting resource efficiency.
For instance, Wasser incorporates air injection technology, mixing air into water flow to create softer, denser droplets. This technology is claimed to save water without compromising bathing comfort.
“Public awareness of water sustainability and efficiency is rising. Modern sanitary products must balance comfort, design, and efficiency,” Ivan stated.
The trend is also affecting the property sector, including hotels and apartments. Developers are now paying more attention to bathroom design as part of the resident and guest experience. Modern sanitary fittings no longer emphasise just technical functions but also material quality, durability, and design aesthetics that suit contemporary urban living.
Kubik One uses brass material claimed to be corrosion-resistant with additional protective coating. The product is available in Platinum Chrome, Matte Black, and Satin Grey finishes to match modern interior design needs.
