Batang-Semarang Toll Road Discount Still in Effect Until 31 March 2026
JAKARTA - Traffic flow through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate towards the eastern Trans-Java region reached 661,258 vehicles during the H-10 to H-1 Lebaran period in 2026, from 11 to 20 March 2026.
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) claims this figure represents a significant increase of 131.87% compared to normal traffic of 285,185 vehicles.
Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that on the first shift of Saturday (21/3/2026), 19,254 vehicles were recorded passing towards the east through Cikampek Utama Gate. This number increased by 55.15% from the normal condition of 12,410 vehicles.
Furthermore, Ria explained that public enthusiasm for travelling to the eastern Trans-Java region remains evident. Therefore, a 23% toll discount continues to be applied until the end of March.
βThe 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road section is still in effect from 12 March to 31 March 2026. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic while providing direct benefits to road users,β she said.
In contrast, vehicles from the eastern Trans-Java region heading to Jakarta through Cikampek Utama Gate experienced a decline. Only 176,065 vehicles were recorded, down 36.08% from normal traffic of 275,445 vehicles.
Increases in vehicle volumes were also observed at several toll roads managed by JTT Group in Central Java and East Java, with the following details:
Kalikangkung Gate: Vehicles heading to Semarang totalled 363,662 (up 125.28% from normal). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang totalled 109,644 (down 26.84% from normal).
Banyumanik Gate: Flow towards Solo totalled 401,043 vehicles (up 78.74% from normal). Meanwhile, towards Jakarta reached 152,402 vehicles (down 14.95% from normal).
Warugunung Gate: Vehicles heading to Surabaya totalled 226,495 (up 13.98% from normal), while towards Jakarta reached 240,821 vehicles (up 27.83% from normal).
Singosari Gate: Vehicles heading to Malang totalled 131,094 (up 0.37% from normal), while towards Surabaya reached 122,780 vehicles (up 1.21% from normal conditions of 121,318 vehicles).
