VIVA – The Semarang–Batang toll road segment has undergone a tariff adjustment, with the increase effective from 7 March 2026. The tariff increase for the Semarang–Batang toll road is based on Minister of Public Works Decree Number 18 KPTS/M/2026 dated 7 January 2026 concerning the Determination of Vehicle Classifications and Tariff Adjustments on the Semarang–Batang Toll Road. In the spirit of transparency for road users, the Indonesian toll operator PT Jasamarga Semarang-Batang (JSB) wrote on its Instagram account @official.jsb_ that the tariff adjustment would be applied on the Semarang–Batang Toll Road, quoted on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The adjustment will take effect on 7 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB. According to JSB, the 2026 tariff adjustment is a non-regular (special) adjustment carried out based on the feasibility study of investment and evaluation of the business plan, and is not based on annual inflation. All adjustment processes are conducted while referring to the provisions in the Concession Agreement for the Semarang–Batang Toll Road, and accompanied by a commitment to continuously improve service quality, comfort, and road safety for road users. JSB is committed to continuing to provide the best service through optimal road maintenance, improved construction quality, and meeting the Minimum Service Standard (SPM) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, to support safe and comfortable journeys for all road users. The Batang–Semarang toll rate has risen by about 29.5 percent for all vehicle classes. For example, for the longest Batang–Semarang toll for Class I from Batang/Pasekaran to Kalikangkung/Semarang is Rp144,500, up from Rp111,500 previously. That is an increase of Rp33,000 for Class I. Similarly for vehicles Class II and III on the same route was Rp216,500, up from Rp167,500. For Classes IV and V the rate is Rp289,000, up from Rp223,000. The following are the Batang–Semarang toll rates as listed in the posted image, effective from 7 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB.
