Batang PLTU Provides Health Equipment Aid and 500 PMT Packages to Roban Timur Posyandu
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BATANG – The Batang PLTU, acting on behalf of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI), has distributed health equipment aid and supplementary food packages (PMT) for toddlers and the elderly to the Roban Timur Posyandu in Sengon Village, Subah Subdistrict, Batang Regency. The handover took place at the Roban Timur Posyandu on Tuesday (10/3/2026). The aid provided includes standing scales, baby scales, height measuring tools, and 500 PMT packages intended for toddlers and the elderly in the area. This programme represents the company’s concern for public health, particularly for vulnerable groups such as toddlers and the elderly. BPI’s General Manager of Stakeholder Relations, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, stated that this activity is part of the company’s commitment through its CSR programme to support improvements in public health services in the areas surrounding its operational region. “Through the distribution of this health equipment aid and PMT packages, we hope to help enhance health services at the posyandu and support nutritional fulfilment for toddlers and the elderly. We hope this aid will provide tangible benefits to the community, especially during this holy month of Ramadan,” said Aryamir H. Sulasmoro. Meanwhile, Puspitasari, the midwife at Roban Timur Posyandu representing the health workers, welcomed and appreciated the company’s concern through this activity. She explained that previously, some health equipment at the posyandu was only available in single units from the health department. With the aid from BPI, the health facilities at the posyandu are now more complete, and services to the community can be improved. “Usually, certain health equipment is only available in one unit at the village level. With this aid, the quantity becomes more abundant. In addition, the blood sugar testing device from BPI is very helpful. Previously, the examination targets were around 20 people, now it can reach more than 100 people,” she clarified. Linda Puspita, representing the community and posyandu cadres of Roban Timur, also expressed gratitude for the aid provided by BPI. “We are very grateful for this aid because it greatly helps the Roban Timur community, especially in supporting posyandu activities,” she stated. This activity aligns with the company’s mission to continue contributing to development and improving the welfare of the community in the areas surrounding its operations.
