Batam-Singapore Ferry Ticket Prices Rise Due to Iran Conflict Fuel Surcharges

Majestic Fast Ferry ticket prices for the Batam-Singapore route have increased effective today, Thursday, 12 March 2026.

The tariff increase has been triggered by the implementation of a fuel surcharge in response to rising fuel costs resulting from the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran.

“Due to recent fuel price increases, a fuel surcharge will be implemented effective 12 March 2026. This decision has been made with considerable reluctance; however, it is necessary to help offset the rising fuel costs,” according to an official notice from Majestic Fast Ferry released on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

The fuel surcharge terms apply to all tickets, including those purchased before, on, or after 12 March 2026, and will be collected at ticket counters.
