Batam police nab men for ecstasy

BATAM: Batam police arrested on Wednesday night two men they accuse of possessing dozens of ecstasy pills for supply at a local hotel.

Dalizanolo and Edy Sutriyono were arrested as they were distributing the pills in the Karaoke Island bar at the Garden Hotel, police said.

Senior detective Adj. Comr. Putut Wicaksono said on Thursday the pair admitted to distributing the drugs. "They also told us the ecstasy pills were obtained from international drug traffickers from Malaysia," Putut said. -- JP
