Batam Deputy Mayor Li Claudia Receives KWP Awards 2026 - RMOL
The award was represented by Ariastuty Sirait, Deputy for Public Services at BP Batam. This appreciation is given for Li Claudia’s commitment to strengthening development synergies and promoting various breakthroughs in the strategic border region.
“This award is not just for me personally, but also for all parties who have worked together to build Batam through innovation and collaboration,” said Li Claudia in a written statement on Thursday, 16 April 2026.
According to her, KWP not only serves to convey information but also helps guide and appreciate the real efforts of leaders in bringing about change in society.
She interprets the award as motivation to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, both with the central government, local government, and the community, to realise inclusive and sustainable development.
“I hope this award becomes a driving force for all of us to continue working and giving our best for the community,” she concluded.
The KWP Awards is a biennial event aimed at giving recognition to legislators, senators, and parliamentary partners who are assessed to have made real contributions through legislative and oversight functions.
In this year’s edition, there are more than 60 award recipients nominated. This tradition has been consistently held, such as the KWP Awards 2021 and KWP Awards 2023.
The implementation of the KWP Awards 2026 is also supported by several state-owned enterprises and private companies, including Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, GoTo, Hutama Karya, PLN, Taspen, and Inalum. This support demonstrates the importance of cross-sector collaboration in promoting better government governance.
