Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, has outlined the OIKN’s programmes for 2026 during a working meeting (raker) with Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Monday (30/3/2026).

The priorities for the OIKN’s programmes this year are the development of zones and the relocation of civil servants (ASN). Basuki stated that these priority programmes are included in the OIKN’s Strategic Plan (Renstra) for the 2025-2029 period.

“To support the development of IKN, this encompasses two priority activities in 2026, namely zone development planning and ASN development,” Basuki said in his presentation at the working meeting with Commission II of the DPR RI on Monday (30/3/2026).

One of the zone planning and development activities in IKN is the spatial arrangement of the Core Government Centre Zone (KIPP) and its surroundings, with a target built area of 850-1,100 hectares (ha).

In addition, the OIKN’s priority programmes for 2026 also include the construction of legislative and judicial buildings or offices, the development of decent, affordable, and sustainable household housing, as well as the construction of supporting facilities and infrastructure such as drinking water management systems, domestic wastewater, and waste.

The development of accessibility and connectivity is also included in the priority activities. This aspect covers the construction of road infrastructure and underground utility networks (MUT) up to urban mass public transport services.

Meanwhile, regarding the relocation of ASN to IKN, it was explained that in the indicators of the 2026 Government Work Plan (RKP) and the OIKN Renstra 2025-2029, the number of ASN to be relocated to IKN ranges from 1,700 to 4,100 people.

“Based on the indicators of the 2026 RKP and the OIKN Renstra 2025-2029, the target number of ASN relocating to IKN is 1,700 to 4,100 ASN,” he continued.

On the other hand, the implementation of an intelligent government system, which includes a smart city information system, digital ecosystem development, and licensing services, is also the OIKN’s first priority activity.

The OIKN’s second priority activities for this year cover social development, an economic superhub, and environmental management.

“This includes community economic empowerment, increased investment, development of an economic superhub, improved community welfare, forest and natural resource protection, disaster mitigation, and the development of sustainable agricultural zones to support food security in IKN,” Basuki explained.
