BASF Awards for local musicians

JAKARTA (JP): Dozens of local musicians have been nominated
for BASF Awards, which will be presented at the Jakarta Hilton
International Hotel's Golden Ballroom on April 18.

The BASF awards are given annually to promote local music.

At the coming ceremony, BASF has nominated more than a dozen
musicians in various categories. Included among the nominees are
Iwan Fals, Paquita Wijaya, Titi Dwi Jayanti, rock group Whizzkid,
pop singer Katon Bagaskara as well as rappers Denada and Iwa K.

The judges, coordinated by Bens Leo, include senior musicians,
arrangers, singers, producers and journalists. (raw)
