Basarnas Jember Holds Safety Training to Protect Volunteers

Volunteers who regularly work directly in disaster situations need to be equipped with knowledge and skills in occupational health and safety (K3) as well as operational safety management.

For this reason, the National Search and Rescue Agency’s (Basarnas) Jember SAR post in East Java held training on Sunday (18 October) for volunteers and relevant organisations. Participants also included private-sector representatives responsible for multi-storey buildings in Jember, Banyuwangi, Bondowoso and Situbondo regencies.
