Bareskrim Uncovers Whip Pink N2O Production Factory in North Jakarta
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Narcotics Crime Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) has successfully uncovered a factory producing N2O gas under the Whip Pink brand. Director of Narcotics Crimes (Dirtipidnarkoba) of Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (15/4/2026), explained that the revelation stemmed from the proliferation of N2O Whip Pink misuse cases.
The Subdit III team of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri conducted an undercover purchase to identify the pickup point by ordering directly via WhatsApp. After the order was confirmed by the admin, the team made a payment of Rp578,000 to a bank account in the name of PT SSS.
Upon identifying the sender’s address, investigators raided a shophouse. There, they found a witness with initials S and Whip Pink products in various weight variants.
From there, Eko continued, investigators delved deeper to locate the Whip Pink production site. On Tuesday (14/4/2026) in the early hours, investigators successfully reached the production location of Whip Pink at a shophouse in the North Jakarta area.
“After checking the said location, the Subdit III team of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri found machines filling N2O gas from large 27-kilogram, 30-kilogram, and 32-kilogram cylinders into small Whip Pink brand cylinders of 580 grams, 640 grams, 950 grams, 1,320 grams, and 2,050 grams,” he stated.
Additionally, he said investigators also discovered ready-to-distribute Whip Pink brand N2O gas products in various weight variants, packaging cartons, pink plastic labels reading Whip Pink with various weight variants, stickers for product packaging, a heat gun, and scales.
He further explained that from interrogating the nine secured witnesses, it was revealed that PT SSS does not yet have legality and BPOM circulation permits related to the production and sale of Whip Pink brand N2O gas products.
“Based on the interrogation results, it is known that SJ oversees the operations, from employee recruitment to production reporting,” he said.
