Bareskrim Transfers Drug Courier in Deli Serdang to Prosecutors

The Directorate of Drug Crimes at Bareskrim Polri has transferred suspect Ahmad Dolli along with evidence in a case of illicit distribution of ketamine pharmaceutical preparations to the Deli Serdang District Prosecutor’s Office. This phase II transfer was carried out after the case file was declared complete, or P21. “Today, Thursday, 23 July 2026, we have carried out the handover of the suspect and evidence, or Phase II, to the Deli Serdang District Prosecutor’s Office on behalf of suspect Ahmad Dolli,” said the Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the Bareskrim Drug Directorate, Senior Commissioner Handik Zusen, in a statement on Thursday (23/7/2026). Handik explained that during the transfer, investigators handed over a number of pieces of evidence seized from the suspect. Among them were six green Chinese tea plastic packages labelled ‘Tie Guan Yin’ containing a white powder suspected to be ketamine. “The evidence consists of six plastic packages of Chinese tea containing ketamine. In addition, we also handed over a Honda Revo motorcycle without a number plate, a backpack, a rice sack, and a mobile phone used by the suspect,” Handik clarified. The examination process of the suspect and evidence was carried out directly by the Investigation Team of Unit III, Sub-Directorate IV of Bareskrim Polri together with the public prosecutor. It was stated that the transfer process of the suspect and evidence proceeded smoothly. “The entire transfer process was safe, orderly, and smooth,” he added. The case originated from a disclosure made by Bareskrim Polri in March 2026. The Director of Drug Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, revealed that suspect Ahmad Dolli acted as a courier in this network. “The suspect was arrested on Thursday, 26 March 2026, on Jalan Putra Denai, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang. From the suspect, the team secured a total of 6,258 grammes of ketamine,” stated Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso. Eko explained that the arrest stemmed from public information regarding the delivery of a large quantity of ketamine via land routes from Sialang Buah Village. When he was about to be arrested, Ahmad Dolli was riding a motorcycle with his associate Jaka, who is currently still on the wanted list. “Suspect J managed to escape into a local palm oil plantation area during the chase due to the dark conditions,” he said. Based on interrogation results, Ahmad Dolli admitted to obtaining the illicit goods from the waters of the Malacca Strait, specifically around Berhala Island. The suspect claimed the goods were found drifting and were then taken to be resold. “Ahmad Dolli admitted to obtaining the goods suspected to be ketamine from the Malacca Strait Sea, Berhala Island, which were drifting and taken by them. On that Thursday, they intended to sell the goods to the Pantai Labu area,” Eko stated. “According to the suspect’s confession, this ketamine was to be distributed by suspect Ahmad Dolli for IDR 12 million to a buyer,” he continued. For his actions, Ahmad Dolli is charged under Article 435 in conjunction with Article 138 paragraph (2) or Article 436 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 145 paragraph (1) of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments.
