Bareskrim to Question Influencer in Whip Pink Case

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittippidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police will examine a social media influencer identified as ZNM as a witness in the development of the case involving the nitrous oxide gas producer Whip Pink.

‘The person in question purchased and used the N2O gas product branded Whip Pink and it briefly went viral on the Instagram social media world,’ said Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim, in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He said the examination will take place on Friday (22/5).

In addition to the influencer, based on the results of the investigation, investigators will also question several other consumers, namely:

• RV (29), resident of North Jakarta

• AM (29), resident of Tangerang

• CD (29), resident of Jakarta

• APG (21)

‘The one of the consumers is suspected of having made hundreds of purchases, so they need to be questioned about their buying activity,’ he said.

It is known that in April 2026, the Dittippidnarkoba of Bareskrim Police uncovered a factory producing N2O gas branded Whip Pink in Jakarta.

From nine witnesses detained during interrogation, it is known that PT SSS as producer does not have legal registration and BPOM licensing relating to the production and sale of Whip Pink N2O gas.

In addition, it was found that the owners of the production site and the Whip Pink shipping warehouse are AH, SC, and JH. The Whip Pink warehouse is located in 10 cities with 16 warehouse points from Jakarta, DI Yogyakarta to Lombok.
