The prestigious event was officially closed on Wednesday (20 May 2026) at GOR Segiri, Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

Chief of Judo Bhayangkara, Irjen Pol. Daniel Adityajaya, during the closing of the championship, expressed deep gratitude for the success of this tournament. He praised all participants and organizers who demonstrated dedication, sportsmanship, and a high spirit of fraternity throughout the competition.

Daniel stated that judo is not merely a stage for pursuing victory, but a crucial means to shape character and mental resilience for athletes.

“Judo not only builds physical resilience, but also instills values of integrity, discipline, and a high fighting spirit. Those values are deeply aligned with the duties of Bhayangkara personnel in maintaining security and serving the community,” said Irjen Pol. Daniel.

He congratulated the winners while also motivating athletes who were not successful to continue refining their skills for greater achievements.

“Keep training and raise your achievements to uphold the name of the Polri institution and your regions at national and international levels,” was his message.

In the internal Polri category, the Bareskrim team held firm at the top of the standings with five gold medals, one silver, and one bronze. With this achievement, they earned the Kapolri Trophy and prize money of Rp100 million.

Second place went to the host, Polda Kaltim, with four gold medals, two silver, and nine bronze, and they earned the trophy and prize money of Rp75 million. Meanwhile, Polda Bali secured third place with three golds, one silver, and one bronze, taking home prize money of Rp50 million.

Bareskrim Polri’s dominance was further enhanced when their athlete, Fikri Kusnanto, was named Best Judoka in the Men’s category. The Best Judoka in the Women’s category within the internal Polri category went to Baiq Syalwa Dila Putri, representing Polda Kaltim.

In addition to the internal Polri category, the Kapolri Cup 2026 National Championship also featured a general category. In this section, Pengurus Provinsi (Pengprov) Persatuan Judo Seluruh Indonesia (PJSI) Jakarta emerged as overall champions after collecting seven gold medals.

Second place was occupied by the West Java contingent with five gold medals. Third place was secured by the host team, Kaltim, which managed to win two gold medals.

Individual recognition in the general boys’ category was earned by the judoka from East Kalimantan, Melia Kubus, who was chosen as Best Male Judoka. Meanwhile the Best Female Judoka in the general category was Putri Ananta Sari, a talented judoka from East Java.

The National Championship (Kejurnas) Judo Kapolri Cup 2026 officially took place from 15 to 20 May 2026 at GOR Segiri, Samarinda.

This prestigious competition featured a total of 20 main categories that included individual men’s and women’s events, mixed team events, and martial arts categories.

The national event was attended by 595 participants comprising athletes and officials. Details include 343 Polri athletes and 146 general athletes.
