Bareskrim Hands Over 2 Drug Trafficking Suspects from DWP Bali Event to Prosecutors
The Narcotics Criminal Directorate of the National Police Headquarters conducted the second stage handover related to the drug trafficking case at the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) concert in Bali on 12–14 December 2025. This handover was carried out after the prosecutor declared the case file complete or P21.
The Head of the Narcotics Criminal Directorate of the National Police Headquarters, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that the handover took place on Tuesday (7/4/2026) to the Badung District Prosecutor’s Office in Bali.
“For syndicate one, namely the Gusliadi et al syndicate, the investigation of the case has been declared complete by the Badung District Prosecutor’s Office and the Bali Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. Today, stage II is being carried out, namely the handover of the suspects and evidence from the investigators to the public prosecutor,” said Eko in his statement.
In the handover, the investigators also submitted various pieces of evidence, such as methamphetamine, ecstasy, and happy water, which were seized by the investigators from the suspects. The two suspects are Gusliadi and Ardi Alfayat.
“The examination process of the suspects and evidence was carried out directly by the public prosecutors of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office at the Badung District Prosecutor’s Office, Bali. The implementation of stage II proceeded safely and smoothly,” he said.
Previously reported, the Narcotics Criminal Directorate of the National Police Headquarters arrested 17 suspects who planned to distribute narcotics at the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) event in Bali on 12–14 December 2025.
Eko explained that the arrests were made outside and before the DWP Bali event took place. The suspects were apprehended at several locations in Jakarta to Bali during an operation conducted on 9–14 December 2025.
“We can report that the series of crackdowns on drug trafficking rings at the event was carried out several days before the DWP event began,” said Brigadier General Eko Hadi at a press conference at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Monday (22/12).
Eko conveyed that these 17 suspects are part of six drug syndicates. Seven other suspects are still being pursued by the police.
“There are six syndicates that were caught in this operation crackdown with a total of 17 suspects and 7 still wanted,” he added.
Eko explained that for syndicate 1, there are two suspects who were arrested, namely Gusliadi (G) and Ardi Alfayat (AA). Both acted as couriers.
“Then, there is RA who is currently still wanted and acted as the courier controller, and from this syndicate 1, we secured evidence in the form of 31.008 grams or approximately 31 kilograms of methamphetamine; then 796 ecstasy pills; 135 grams of happy water; and 1,066 grams of ketamine,” Eko clarified.
