Barba wants to maintain Persib's unbeaten run at home

Bandung (ANTARA) - Persib Bandung defender, Federico Barba, has affirmed that his team wants to maintain their unbeaten run at home when they face Madura United in the 23rd week of the BRI Super League at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Thursday at 8:30 PM.

“In the second round, many clubs have changed, both in terms of gameplay and players. But nothing has changed about our mentality. We still want to get three points,” said Barba in a statement received in Bandung.

According to him, the dynamics of the competition in the second round have led every team to make improvements, both in terms of player composition and playing style. However, Persib still sets high targets in every match.

He ensured that the team’s preparations under the coach’s direction have been carried out thoroughly, especially from a tactical point of view.

“We are playing at home and this is very important for us. We have prepared everything tactically for tomorrow night’s match,” he said.

He also ensured that the majority of the players are in good condition and ready to fight for full points and maintain a positive record at home.

“Tomorrow, we want to win the match and get three points,” said Barba.

“There is nothing special, we have two days to prepare for the match. Yesterday we worked on some tactical details about how we want to attack as a team,” said Tolic.

He added that the last training session focused on defensive organization and anticipating set-piece situations as part of perfecting the team’s strategy.

“Today we did a few details about defense and set pieces. I think we are ready for tomorrow,” he said.
