Barata Indonesia Supports National Renewable Energy Programme
PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) has shipped a B100 biodiesel reactor to South Kalimantan, an order from PT Paripurna Swakarsa, in support of the national new and renewable energy (EBT) programme. “We are committed to continuously supporting national energy resilience through the development and provision of manufactured products that back renewable energy,” said PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Director Hertyoso Nursasongko in Surabaya, East Java, on Thursday. The B100 biodiesel reactor is equipment used in the processing of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) into biodiesel through esterification and transesterification processes. Hertyoso explained that the reactor produced by Barata Indonesia is designed to meet the needs of biodiesel production on an industrial scale. Under full load, the B100 reactor facility produced by Barata Indonesia consists of six reactors, each with a capacity of 500 litres, totalling 3,000 litres every six hours. This capacity, he said, demonstrates Barata Indonesia’s manufacturing capability in producing process equipment to support the plant-based energy industry.
