Bappenas, UNDP launch booklet

JAKARTA: The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas)
and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) have published
a report entitled Indonesia's Development Partners.

The report contains short profiles of development cooperation
programs of the participants in the Consultative Group on
Indonesia (CGI). It aims to increase understanding among
Indonesia's development partners about the objectives and scope
of the assistance programs of each CGI member.

"The profiles will enable Bappenas and other government
agencies to improve the match between external assistance needs
and the priorities and preferences of development partners," the
UNDP office said yesterday.

The 64-page report is compiled from information supplied by
Bappenas, development partners and the UNDP. (pan)
