Bappenas: Draft RKP 2027 Sharper, More Concrete, and Realistic

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Minister for National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas), Rachmat Pambudy, stated that the draft Government Work Plan (RKP) for 2027 is sharper, more concrete, and realistic.

“In line with the situation and conditions, yet still maintaining our main national development objectives,” he said during the Central Development Coordination Meeting (Rakorbangpus) 2026 for the Preparation of the RKP for 2027 in Jakarta on Thursday.

The RKP 2027 will be outlined in a book focusing on national priority work programmes (PKPN), which are concrete programmes and smart investments, rather than mere government spending.

The second book covers the direction of national and regional development, ensuring that strategic programmes or activities add value to achieving national development goals, so that every rupiah has clear outputs and impacts.

The theme of the RKP 2027 focuses on “Accelerating Quality Growth Through Productivity, Investment, and Industry”, while the theme of the Macroeconomic Framework and Fiscal Policy Principles (KEM-PPKF) is “Grow Higher, Prosper Faster”.

“Although there is a slight difference, both share the same spirit and breath, towards high growth to achieve more equitable and widespread societal welfare,” said the Minister for PPN.

In its implementation, he continued, the priority development programmes are prepared in a planned, structured, and rule-compliant manner.
