Bappebti announces first-quarter 2026 futures broker ratings
Jakarta — Indonesia’s Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti), under the Ministry of Trade, has established the periodic performance ratings for all futures brokers for the first quarter of 2026 (January-March 2026).
Based on the periodic assessment for January-March 2026, seven companies achieved the highest ranking: PT Valbury Asia Futures, PT Finex Bisnis Solusi Futures, PT Argodana Futures, PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia, PT Century Investment Futures, PT CGS International Futures Indonesia (formerly PT CGS-CIMB Futures Indonesia), and PT Gensesis Gemilang Futures.
“With improved quality and performance of Futures Brokers, the public is expected to be increasingly confident and feel protected when transacting in the commodity futures trading sector,” said Bappebti Head Tirta Karma Senjaya in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday.
Tirta stated that this determination forms part of routine evaluation conducted quarterly and is expected to motivate all Futures Brokers to enhance service quality and corporate performance.
The assessment was conducted based on oversight results from the Commodity Futures Trading Supervision and Enforcement Bureau (PBK), the Warehouse Receipt System (SRG), and the Commodity Auction Market (PLK).
Meanwhile, Head of the Supervision and Enforcement Bureau for PBK, SRG, and PLK Matheus Hendro Purnomo explained that the periodic assessment of Futures Brokers for January-March 2026 was conducted across 67 active Futures Broker companies.
Refinements have been made to the evaluation mechanism that is more adaptive, objective, and comprehensive in reflecting the level of compliance, quality of business operation implementation, and governance of Futures Brokers.
“This update is conducted to align with developments in business activities, dynamics of the PBK industry, and strengthening of risk-based supervision mechanisms to encourage the creation of a healthy, orderly, transparent, and integrity-based industry,” explained Hendro.
The three indicators in the Futures Broker periodic assessment comprise the Futures Broker performance aspect, deduction value, and addition value.
The Futures Broker performance aspect encompasses evaluation of the results of oversight on financial integrity of Futures Brokers, compliance oversight of Futures Broker activities, oversight of Futures Broker transactions, and implementation of Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Prevention (AML/CFT) during the first quarter of 2026.
The second indicator is the deduction value aspect, which includes deduction value based on sanctions, number of customer complaints, daily operational inconsistencies, and audit results.
The third indicator is the addition value aspect, which is awarded based on total transaction volume in one quarter and its comparison to the average transaction lot of the industry during that period.
